The Sixth Longest Day?

Another season of 24 begins tonight, and while my dedication to the series has waned slightly over the past two seasons, it’s likely to pique again with my favorite comedian, Eddie Izzard, playing the primary villain. I’m quite excited, so I’ll be watching TV for the premiere tonight. However, if you prefer not to watch the entire season of 24, you can catch the highlights at your leisure. That is, if you consider all of Jack Bauer’s kills to be the highlights. Which might be true.

On a related note, in finding the Eddie Izzard fan site, I made an amazing discovery (that you will find on his homepage) - you can download Eddie Izzard’s voice for your TomTom!!! When you go past your turn, he says, “Turn around when possible! For god’s sake, man, stop pissing about.” How could you not want that?!

So, you must have missed the news.

Yeah, apparently Eddie thought 24 was only going to take 24 hours to film… because that’s all he worked.

The first four episodes are all still really good though!

Didn’t catch the episode, but wouldn’t it be cool if one of the twists this season were that it takes place on the day you set your clocks back for daylight savings? Then it would have to be 25 episodes, and it really would be the longest day.

What do you think?
